this week we learnt about b roll and a roll and what the difference is to my understanding a roll is footage of the subject/main focus and showing that and the b roll is extra shots put over top to help support what he/she is talking about it is also used to help keep the audience focused to what he/she is talking about there is a big difference between these, but I can only share what I know hopefully this video will help back me up
